Hemsworth Services was appointed to carry out a comprehensive refurbishment of this three-bedroom end-of-terrace property in Rochester. The aim was to modernise the home, improve its energy efficiency, ensure compliance with current safety standards, and maximise its appeal for future occupants. The property required upgrades throughout, including a new kitchen and bathroom, heating and electrical improvements, redecoration, flooring replacement, and external clearance works.
The Challenge
The property needed significant modernisation, with dated finishes throughout and several key building elements requiring improvement. The kitchen and bathroom had reached the end of their service life, the heating system required upgrading, and electrical works were needed to bring the property to current standards. In addition, the garden required clearing and the property’s insulation levels needed improvement to enhance energy performance.
Kitchen Refurbishment
- A complete kitchen refurbishment was undertaken, including:
- Full re-plastering of walls.
- Installation of a new fitted kitchen.
